PHOENIX — The Arizona Humane Society and Maricopa County Animal Care and Control are both offering FREE adoptions this weekend.

Both organizations say they are over capacity and need people to step forward with forever homes.

Here are the details for each promotion.

Arizona Humane Society:

AHS is offering free adoptions on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 9 & 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Puppies and kittens are included in the offer as well.

All four Arizona Humane Society locations will be taking part in the promotion and all pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Adopters will also receive a bag of Hill's Science Diet food and a free follow-up veterinary exam with VCA Animal Hospitals.
