A driver called authorities on Thursday morning after her window shattered while driving on Interstate 10.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the window was shattered by a possible BB or pellet near I-10 and 7th Street. Troopers searched the area but did not find any suspects.
No one was injured in the incident.
This incident, while not connected to the freeway shootings, comes over a year since Leslie Merritt Jr. was released from jail. DPS still believes Merritt is the freeway shootings suspect.
