The Phoenix Fire Department was called to a first-alarm fire Wednesday night at an elementary school that has been targeted several times just this week.

Crews were called out to the CJ Jorgensen Elementary School near 19th and Southern avenues shortly before 11 p.m.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured or what started the fire, but police are reportedly investigating it a break-in. Since Monday, surveillance cameras have captured video of several people entering the school after hours, stealing property from inside.

Police say Wednesday night's fire may be related to those break-ins.

Much of the school's library was damaged in the fire.
