Every resident of Arizona knows that in the month of June, the heat was most definitely on throughout the Valley. Unfortunately, several pets realized it too, and June – in this case, a 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair – was no exception.
At one point homeless and roaming the streets, June was fortunate enough to find her way into the care of the Arizona Humane Society, where our Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital™ confirmed that she had not surprisingly been dealing with severe levels of heat stress. But since getting the treatment she needed and receiving some much needed time cooling off, June has since proven herself one of the most affectionate felines we have ever seen.
As friendly, loving, and social as they come, June is also a big fan of head scratches as well as children.
Available for adoption today at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope location, stop by and pay June a visit.
We promise this extremely cool cat will make you look at June far more fondly than you did when worrying about what your air conditioning bill would look like come month’s end.
