Not only was this sweet senior found with an untreated wound on his head, but was also very underweight and found to be suffering from tick fever. In the last year, Arizona Humane Society Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ and Cruelty Investigators went on more than 7,700 cruelty investigations to help sick, injured and abused pets like Buddy. Fortunately, we were able to convince the owner of the 14-year-old Labrador Retriever mix to surrender him to AHS, where he has since been receiving care. A friendly and gentle canine, Buddy is now up to about 60 pounds in weight but still thinks he makes a perfect lap dog. We have enjoyed every second we’ve had with Buddy but understand it’s time for him to find a home and family to call his own. We encourage you to come meet him today at our Campus for Compassion to see if you might be the ones lucky enough to provide him with both.
