On Thursday night, ABC15 held a phone bank to raise funds for the 100 Club of Arizona, which helps support the families of first responders injured or killed in the line of duty.
Together, we raised over $54,000 for the organization.
Earlier Thursday, Phoenix police said Officer David Glasser, who was shot by a suspect the day before, died. As his last act, Glasser would be donating his organs, said police.
Glasser was a member of the Neighborhood Enforcement Team and had been on the force for 12 years. He leaves behind a wife and two young children.
