Yavapai County: Electronic speed sign stolen from Prescott Valley

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ — Authorities are asking for help in finding the person or people responsible for stealing an electronic speed monitoring sign last month.

The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office says the sign, which was near Poquito Valley and Esteem Way in Prescott Valley, was stolen between 2:30 p.m. on July 22nd and 9:30 a.m. on July 23rd.

The sign, which was attached to a post that included a speed limit sign and a solar panel, was purchased with grant money given by the Governor's Office of Highway Safety.

It has an estimated value of $5,500.

The brand name of the sign is Traffic Logix, and the unit has a serial number of 19010808.
