PAGE, AZ — Officials from the Page Police Department are working to determine what lead to the death of a 6-year-old girl Friday afternoon.
According to police, around 1 p.m. on Friday, a 6-year-old girl was brought to the hospital by her babysitter.
Police say the child was unresponsive when she arrived at the hospital.
Hospital staff called the police, but when police arrived at the hospital, the girl had passed away.
At this time, the cause of the child's death is unknown. Police say there were no signs of trauma on the child's body.
The child's parents and the babysitter are cooperating, according to police.
