CAMERON, AZ — Authorities have identified the six people killed in a head-on crash north of Flagstaff over the weekend.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says 18-year-old Javas Cody, of Kayenta, was driving north on US 89 when he crossed over the striped median and hit a passenger vehicle with four tourists from Colombia.

Cody and his passenger, 39-year-old Aaron Chee, died at the scene. The four tourists, 22-year-old Juliana Delgado, 60-year-old Carlos Jaramillo, 22-year-old Manuela Delgado, and 58-year-old Soriada Sierra, were also pronounced dead at the scene.

DPS says Cody was reported to have been driving recklessly and at high speed.

No further information about the crash was immediately available and it remained under investigation, DPS said.
