COTTONWOOD, AZ — The Cottonwood Police Department is warning its community of current technical issues that are causing residents to not be able to call 911.

The police department said Centurylink contacted their dispatch center and confirmed that about 175 landlines in the Verde Valley area are not able to call 911 because of technical issues.

For those experiencing an emergency, the police ask you to call 928-649-1397.
