Two men were arrested in connection to a deadly shooting that claimed the life of a 53-year-old woman in Scottsdale last month.

Scottsdale police said 30-year-old Adrian Espinosa and 30-year-old Jose Beltran were arrested in Las Vegas in mid-December after an investigation led detectives to Nevada to identify the two men who were allegedly involved in the shooting.

On Dec. 8, police responded to a home near Loop 101 and Cactus Road around 4 p.m. for a shooting involving a female victim.

Police identified the victim as 53-year-old Andrea Garcia. Authorities did not release any additional information on the incident.

Both men were extradited to Arizona and remain in custody for numerous felony charges that include first-degree murder.
