Two men were arrested late Friday afternoon after robbing a hair salon at knife point, according to the Scottsdale Police Department.
Investigators identified the suspects as 26-year-old Edward Tongen and 21-year-old Michael Kelley.
One of the men acted as a lookout while the other pulled a knife and demanded money from the worker at the front desk of the salon, located near Cactus and Scottsdale roads, police said.
Officials said the men were seen by witnesses leaving in a car after taking the money.
Police located the car and attempted a traffic stop, but the suspects sped off. While fleeing, the men crashed into a wall in a residential area a few blocks away. Both suspects were caught after a short foot pursuit.
Tongen and Kelley are being held on numerous felony charges, including armed robbery.
