Scottsdale police say a 67-year-old man shot and killed his wife in her sleep before turning the gun on himself Monday night.
At 5:30 p.m. police responded to a home near Hayden and Chaparral roads after a couple was found dead by a family friend.
Police say Mark Gustafson shot his wife, 72-year-old Nancy Metz, as she slept before shooting and killing himself.
