Christine Lewandowski said finding a car inside her beauty supply shop on Friday was a little shocking.
The early morning mess is not what she expected when police called to tell her there was a minor accident at her front door.
"Yeah the car was still stuck inside the window, and the front door," said Lewandowski.
But an accident is just what police say it was; they said the driver was not impaired.
Before the Scottsdale store opened, police said a woman jumped the curb and plowed through the front door. The driver wasn't injured, and no one was inside the shop.
But the area where she crashed is normally occupied.
"We sit there and do makeup consultations and skin care consultations, so it could've been a lot more serious," said Lewandowski.
It happened at around 8 a.m., and the shop opens at 9 a.m. Lewandowski said the business will remain open, but customers are asked to come in through the salon side.
It's unknown exactly what caused the driver to accelerate.
