A car that hit a building near Scottsdale Road and Drinkwater Boulevard is under investigation.
Officials say a vehicle crossed the median and crashed into the front of Franco's Italian Caffe in Scottsdale overnight.
The wreck cracked a pillar on the sidewalk outside of the building.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined, but impairment may have been a factor.
The driver was reportedly taken to the hospital.
