PHOENIX — A 62-year-old man is dead following a fatal pedestrian crash near 32nd Street and Osborn Road, according to Phoenix police.
Friday night around 9 p.m., police say a 62-year-old man, whose identity is not available, was standing mid-block in the northbound lane of 32nd Street when he was hit by northbound vehicle approaching Mulberry Road.
When the fire department arrived, they pronounced the man dead on the scene.
The driver remained on scene, according to police, and showed no signs of impairment.
Police say no charges are pending against the driver.
