The Rural Metro Fire Department says an 8-month-old was pulled from a pool this afternoon after about two minutes under water.
The incident happened at a home near Fountain Hills and Palisades boulevards around 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
Officials say CPR was performed on the child and the child is now awake and crying.
It is unclear if the child will be transported to the hospital.
