Officials say a hiker fell 100 feet after suffering a seizure on a trail northeast of Cave Creek on Thursday morning.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said the 29-year-old man was hiking with his mother when he slipped and fell 100 feet.
Fortunately, the hiker and his mother were able to hike out and meet rescuers where they were called to the area of Old Mine and Hohokam roads.
He was flown to a Valley hospital for treatment, although officials did not disclose the extent of the man's injuries.
