TUCSON, AZ — Pima County Sheriff's officials say a man has been found fatally shot in a neighborhood south of Tucson International Airport and a suspect is in custody.

They say deputies were dispatched to the scene around 7:30 p.m. Saturday for an unknown problem.

When deputies arrived, they reported finding a man dead from a gunshot wound.

The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Luis Meza-Salvedo. Sheriff's officials say 20-year-old Ricardo Andres Herrera has been arrested booked into jail on suspicion of one count of negligent homicide.

It was unclear Sunday if Herrera has a lawyer yet who can speak on his behalf.

Sheriff's officials didn't immediately release a possible motive for the shooting, but they say they're still investigating the incident.
