Cochise County wildfire shuts down roads, puts residents on notice

A Cochise County wildfire has shut down roads and could pose a threat to residents near Sunizona, southeast of Tucson.

According to Facebook posts on the Cochise County Sheriff's page, Taylor Road at Highway 181 and Grassy Valley and Tyler Road intersections are closed. Residents are warned to avoid the area until further notice.

Those who live in the area are advised to follow the SET protocol for wildfires and be ready to leave at a moment's notice.
