A round fired during a weapons training exercise at Fort Huachuca in southern Arizona has sparked a brush fire.
The Sierra Vista Herald reports that the brush fire was reported Tuesday morning and the Fort Huachuca Fire Department responded. The fire was contained later that day after burning about 20 acres.
Fire officials say a .50-caliber round used during the training is what caused the blaze.
