The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is searching for two suspects accused of shooting a man in Tonopah.

Deputies say around 2:50 a.m. on September 8, deputies responded to a report of a gunshot wound at a home near Buckeye Road and 367th Avenue.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim told deputies he was assaulted by Daniel Guerrero, John Heine and Lisa Petke. He said he knew Petke and that she, Guerro and Heine assaulted him while he was sleeping and threatened to kill him.

The victim told deputies the two men were carrying firearms and Petke was armed with a blunt object.

The victim said Petke hit him with the blunt object, and when he tried to run, he was shot in the leg.

The man said the trio stole several items at gunpoint before they ran off.

MCSO officials say the suspects, Daniel Guerrero and John Heine are still outstanding and presumed to be armed and dangerous.
