Casa Grande police have identified the suspect and victims involved in a murder-suicide on Monday morning.

According to police, just before 8:30 a.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired at a home near Pinal Avenue and Kortsen Road.

As officers arrived, they found 56-year-old Rick Miller and 27-year-old Arielle Miller dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Police say they also located 31-year-old Kyle Cooper who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Cooper was flown to a Phoenix-area hospital where he underwent surgery for his injury. On Thursday, police said Cooper succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Police have identified Rick Miller as the suspect in the case. Miller reportedly used a firearm to shoot and kill his niece, Arielle, and Cooper who has been identified as her boyfriend.

Investigators say Rick Miller died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
