The Casa Grande Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that happened Thursday morning.
Police say they received multiple calls around 7:30 a.m. regarding a shooting at an apartment complex near Cottonwood Lane and Arizola Road.
According to police, a 24-year-old man was transported to the hospital with two gunshot wounds to his upper right arm.
The suspect fled in a 2000s model gold Tahoe, but was later located by police around 8:30 a.m. on State Route 287 near Coolidge.
Police say they have taken a person of interest into custody for questioning. They believe this was an isolated incident and believe no one else was involved.
