PHOENIX – It’s Chester Bennington like you’ve never seen before.
Longtime friend of Bennington’s and photographer, Jim Louvau, is sharing intimate portraits of the late Linkin Park singer in Downtown Phoenix.
The exhibit called “Celebrating the Life of Chester Bennington“ is officially open at The monOrchid in Downtown Phoenix.
This is only the second time the full collection has been shown.
Louvau said that Bennington was his first ever portrait subject at the beginning of Louvau’s photography career. The exhibit shows various portrait shoots, as well as photos of Chester on stage performing.
“There’s so many different aspects of his personality that really shine through,“ said Louvau.
The grand opening is Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $35 and part of the proceeds benefit 320 Change Direction, a charity co-founded by Bennington to bring awareness to mental health.
Bennington passed away on July 20, 2017.
