On Friday morning, the Powerball website showed a new jaw-dropping jackpot of $800 million.
The jackpot was $700 million on Thursday, rising past the original jackpot amount of $524 million. No winners were picked in the original drawing.
Arizona Lottery officials said Thursday that four tickets sold in Arizona did win some cash, though. Those four tickets are worth $50,000 each, matching four numbers including the Powerball.
Powerball says the cash value of the current $800 million jackpot would equate to $496 million. It is the largest jackpot in U.S. history.
