PHOENIX Grab your finest armor or your nicest corset and get ready because the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is opening in Scottsdale this summer!

See our electrifying show featuring heroic knights on spirited horses displaying the astounding athletic feats and thrilling swordplay that have become hallmarks of this unique entertainment experience. Enjoy a “hands-on” feast as the dynamic performance unfolds before you. A sweeping musical score and brilliant lights provide a fabulous backdrop for this spellbinding experience that blurs the boundary between fairy tale and spectacle!

This is what I mean when I say I want dinner and a show! Transport back in time while you dine in the finest castle with Queen Maria Isabella and her royal court.

Tickets include a four-course meal as well as a spot to watch the two-hour medieval jousting tournament. You will see six knights in shining armor joust with real weapons while riding valiant steeds. The horses are well-kept and the website promises they take the best care when treating their animals. You will also witness the spectacular flight of the royal falcon!

Their menu for the feast is fit for a Queen! It includes garlic bread, tomato soup, chicken, potatoes, corn, dessert, coffee, and two rounds of drinks. I’m stuffed just thinking about it. There is also a vegetarian meal option available with a rice and bean stew as the base.

Oh, did we mention the meal is utensil-free? They did not have forks in the 11th century!

Medieval Times is located at the Talking Stick Entertainment District behind Salt River Fields and is expected to open in late July. However, you can reserve your ticket now! Other locations for the Medieval Times are Florida, California, Illinois, Georgia, and Texas.
