APACH JUNCTION, AZ — Eastbound travel has resumed after a deadly crash involving a Hayden Police Department vehicle and a pedestrian in Apache Junction Monday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a woman is dead after a crash on the U.S. 60 near Silly Mountain.
The woman ran into the roadway while the fully marked police vehicle was driving eastbound.
The crash has closed the eastbound lanes of U.S. at Mountain View Road.
DPS says the eastbound lanes have reopened at Mountain View Road.
