PHOENIX — Phoenix fire officials say a 2-year-old girl was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition after she was pulled from a backyard pool Thursday.
Fire crews say the girl was found unresponsive and not breathing at a home near 27th Avenue and Baseline Road.
Before paramedics arrived, CPR was performed on the child, officials say.
It is unclear how long she was underwater.
The investigation remains ongoing.
