PHOENIX — Unclaimed property turned over to the state will be on display for potential buyers this weekend.

Once per year the Arizona Department of Revenue auctions unclaimed property that it has held for at least two years.

Included in this round are baseball cards, coins, jewelry even silverware that have come from abandoned safe deposit boxes.

Live in person bidding begins at Sierra Auctions in Phoenix on Friday December 13 at 11am.

An online auction continues through the weekend.

Even if you don't plan to buy something, take a look and see if you recognize any of the items; they could belong to your family.

If the item is not auctioned AZDOR can return it to you, if it is the agency will hold the money until claimed by the owner.

You can also check MissingMoney.com for unclaimed property in your name around the country.
