You've likely heard of the prescription drug Adderall.

It's used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other conditions.

It's expensive, but should there have been a cheaper version available years ago?

Scott Hardy with Topclassactions.com says the makers of Adderall XR faced a class action lawsuit alleging they delayed a generic version for years.

A settlement could me $16 back per prescription bought.

The deadline to file is October 7, 2016.

The drug maker admits no wrongdoing.
