The Arizona Department of Public Safety said just before 5:30 a.m. they received a report of a car heading southbound in the northbound lanes on Loop 101 near McDowell Road.

It is unclear whether the wrong-way driver or occupants of the other car involved were hurt.

The wrong-way driver is being investigated for DUI, according to officials.

Last weekend, 19-year-old Jahine Gregg was charged with aggravated DUI and multiple counts of endangerment after he nearly collided with multiple drivers while heading eastbound on the westbound lanes of Loop 202.
