COTTONWOOD, AZ — A search warrant led to deputies finding more than 100 fentanyl pills and several guns at a Cottonwood home, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.

YCSO says they pulled over 25-year-old Adrian Campos on November 11 near his home in Cottonwood for a traffic violation. YCSO says Campos was known to their Partner’s Against Narcotics Trafficking (PANT) team and believed to be involved in selling illegal drugs.

After discovering a bag of fentanyl pills in Campos’ possession during the stop, deputies were able to get a search warrant for his home.

YCSO says deputies located a bag with what was believed to be more than 100 fentanyl pills in Campos’ bedroom along with three guns. A fourth gun was located during a search of his vehicle.

YCSO says Campos is a convicted felon, therefore he is not allowed to possess firearms.

Deputies also located approximately $400 in cash in Campos’ vehicle. YCSO says Campos admitted to being involved in selling fentanyl pills in the Cottonwood area.

Campos faces charges for possession of drug paraphernalia (fentanyl-related), prohibited possessor, and possession of weapons during a drug offense.
