An arrest has been made in the stabbing of a mother and daughter at a Phoenix apartment complex.

Phoenix police report that on Thursday evening they located and arrested 30-year-old Ulrick Bryan Woody near 18th Street and Van Buren.

Police report that on October 26 they responded to a call of a double stabbing at an apartment complex near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

Witnesses identified Woody as the suspect who was once married to one of the victims.

In the parking lot of the apartment complex, police found a woman with three knives sticking out of her body. They also found another woman in a neighbor's apartment with multiple stab wounds.

Police say Woody was also arrested in another domestic violence incident, about a year ago.

He is being held without bond and has been charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder.
