PHOENIX — An Arizona man was arrested and extradited from California back to the Valley following his wife's death in September, according to Phoenix police.
Police say 69-year-old Derek Minor was arrested in the Santa Monica area on October 31st in connection with his wife, Cynthia Minor's, death.
Mrs. Minor, 54, was reported missing from Scottsdale in September.
Her body was later found in an apartment the couple shared near 24th Street and Osborn Road.
Detectives were investigating Mrs. Minor's death as a homicide and were actively searching for her husband, Derek Minor.
Police say the couple was in the process of separating when Mrs. Minor returned to the couple's apartment to pick up some items.
Minor is being held on a $1,000,000 bond for car theft and second-degree murder.
