GOODYEAR, AZ — Authorities reportedly found seven unrestrained children and several open containers in the woman's vehicle.

DPS pulled over a vehicle, driven by 34-year-old Erica Rodriguez, on the Loop 303 near Thomas Road in Goodyear at 10:45 p.m. on December 10.

Three open containers of alcohol were found in the car and Rodriguez, a Surprise resident, showed signs of impairment, according to officials.

Court records show that there were seven children in the car, ranging in age from five to 15, and all were unrestrained.

Also, Rodriguez's driver's license has been suspended several times, according to court documents. It is unclear if Rodriguez had a suspended license at the time of the arrest.

Rodriguez was arrested on seven counts of child abuse, endangerment, and multiple DUI related charges.
