PHOENIX — Missing puppy alert!

Nebula, a 2-month old American Pit Bull Terrier Mix, was stolen from HALO Animal Rescue’s Metrocenter Mall location Saturday evening.

According to a post on HALO’s Facebook page, someone used bolt cutters to get through the adoption center’s lock. They then stole Nebula, leaving the rest of her siblings behind.

Nebula is microchipped, and authorities have been alerted of the theft, Halo says.

“This is painful for all of us here at HALO,” remarked HALO CEO & President Heather Allen. “Every day our staff and volunteers work tirelessly for the animals, putting in so much time and love so that we can save the lives of dogs and cats. The idea that someone would break into our adoption center to steal one of the homeless animals is hard to comprehend. We are hoping for the puppy’s safe return.”

Metrocenter Mall has offered a $1000.00 reward for anyone who gives information leading to the arrest of this person.

If anyone has information on Nebula’s whereabouts, call HALO at 602-971-9222 or email them at info@halorescue.org.
