A Peoria woman returned home to find a naked intruder cooking in her kitchen last week.
Peoria police report that on July 11 a woman returned to her home, near 91st and Peoria Avenues, and found a stranger, later identified as 46-year-old Stacy Marie Horton-Garcia, naked and cooking in her kitchen.
Police say Garcia took the victim’s clothes and fled the home. The victim reportedly took video of the woman inside her home and fleeing with the victim’s clothes, which she took out of the homeowner's closet.
Police say before cooking the victim's food, Garcia took a shower inside the homeowner’s bathroom.
After her arrest, Garcia allegedly told police that she went into the wrong house, thinking it was her boyfriend’s home.
Garcia, who has 22 aliases, and is on probation for trespassing, has been charged with burglary.
