PHOENIX — A woman is accused of providing alcohol to a young teenage boy and sexually assaulting him, according to court paperwork.

Phoenix police report that on August 1, 2019, they responded to a call of a fight regarding allegations that Ashley Loraine Hodges, 30, was sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy.

Police say Hodges began a sexual relationship with the boy when he was 13. Court records show that she provided him with alcohol and told him that she has been "sexually active with younger males."

Hodges later reportedly sent the boy text messages about having sex with him again. Police say this happened at least four times, including on the boy's 14th birthday. Each time she provided the boy with alcohol and sexually abused him in her home.

Hodges was arrested by police on December 12, at her home near 24th Street and Thomas Road. She allegedly admitted to the sexual encounters but denied giving the boy alcohol, except on his birthday.

Hodges has been charged with sexual conduct with a minor.
