PHOENIX — Phoenix Police are actively investigating a homicide after a 33-year-old man was shot and killed near 75th Avenue and Indian School Road Saturday evening.
According to Phoenix police, they were called to the area around 6 p.m. for reports of a gunshot being heard and a person lying in the street.
First responders found the 33-year-old man, who is not being identified at this time, in the street. He was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Phoenix police say there is evidence of "illegal drug activity" related to this homicide.
At this time, there is no description available regarding a suspect or suspects.
