A Goodyear woman is accused of ramming into her husband's car as he slept in it in a Walmart parking lot.

Goodyear police report that on July 9, just after midnight, they responded to an assault in the Walmart parking lot near Estrella Parkway and McDowell Road.

The victim informed police that he left home after getting into an argument with his wife, 35-year-old Andria Elania West.

He was trying to sleep in his car in the parking lot when West located him. They began arguing again and he decided to leave, court paperwork said. West allegedly struck his vehicle with her car.

Afterward, he drove off and West followed and continued to hit his vehicle from behind, officials said.

Police say they located West at her nearby Goodyear home. Damage to her car was consistent with the description of events that the victim explained.

The victim’s vehicle was heavily damaged on the back and side doors, court paperwork said.

West has been charged with aggravated assault.
