PHOENIX — A suspect prepared a mattress in an alley before he attempted to abduct and sexually assault his victim.
Phoenix police report that on Tuesday morning, a woman was waiting for a bus near 15th Avenue and Van Buren Street. She was then allegedly grabbed by 31-year-old Antonio Luis Bradley, who said, "You're going with me."
After two attempts to drag the woman away, Bradley walked away, and the victim contacted the police.
Officers say the woman was distraught but managed to describe the suspect. Police located Bradley about a block away.
While in custody, Bradley allegedly told police that he intended to take the victim to an alleyway where he had defecated on a mattress.
He intended to sexually assault the victim and smear her face with the feces.
Police say they later went to the alley and found the mattress, just as Bradley had described.
Court records show that he has a felony warrant for criminal trespassing and is now being held without bond for kidnapping and attempted sexual assault.
