A Phoenix woman has been arrested and charged with murder in a deadly double rollover crash on Greenway Parkway back in 2016.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office has charged Catherine Anastasia Heinink with aggravated assault, endangerment, and murder in relation to the North Phoenix wreck.

On July 26, 2016, the Phoenix Fire Department responded to a double rollover crash, near 7th Street and Greenway Parkway.

They transported three patients in critical condition from the scene.

Witnesses reported that a Jeep was struck by a car, driven by a woman and moving at a high rate of speed.

John Robert Howe, who was the only person in the Jeep, later died from his injuries.

Heinink was arrested at her home in North Phoenix on June 12 and is being held on a $750,000 bond for endangerment, aggravated assault, and second-degree murder.
