A man was arrested after arranging to meet a young teenage girl for sex in Tempe.

Tempe police report that an undercover officer, posing as a mother prostituting her 13-year-old daughter, began a conversation with 45-year-old Ralyn Dean Trede.

Police say, for months Trede and the "mother" exchanged texts, negotiating price, time and the services the teen would provide.

During the texts conversations, Trede allegedly admitted knowing the girl's age saying: "Your daughter is young. I could go to jail."

He also reportedly sent nude photos of himself to the "mother."

They agreed to meet in Tempe, and he would provide $300 and the condoms to be used.

On November 29, Trede met with the undercover officer near 5th Street and Mill Avenue. He was found with $300 and two condoms in his possession.

Upon his arrest, Trede allegedly told police that he was "lonely."

He also wrote an apology letter to the non-existent teen saying, "I am sorry, I wish you a happy and healthy childhood."

Trede has been charged with child sex trafficking.
