PHOENIX — Multiple people were shot at a Phoenix strip mall near 19th and Northern Avenues.
Crews with the Phoenix Fire Department were called to the area on Sunday around 3:00 a.m.
Three men were found at the scene with gunshot wounds and were transported to a hospital for treatment, according to Phoenix police.
Two additional men were located at a hospital and are believed to be connected to the same shooting.
Officials say preliminary information indicates the men were in a fight and exchanged gunfire.
Phoenix police were seen investigating near the Cool Vybz Jamaican Restaurant, but have not provided specifics.
The investigation remains ongoing.
