MESA, AZ — A Gila Bend man was caught on surveillance video crawling on the floor to look up women's dresses, according to court documents.

Mesa police report that on July 1, they were called to the Walmart store near Dobson Road and Rio Salado Parkway for reports of a suspicious man.

Walmart security allegedly watched video surveillance footage of Jose Aguilar Gallegos, 59, following women around the store with his hands in his pants, according to court records.

At one point, they reportedly saw him crawling on the floor to look up a woman's skirt. He then stood up and placed his hand in his pants, according to police.

When the victim was contacted, she was unaware of Gallegos' actions. Upon his arrest, Gallegos allegedly admitted to his actions.

He has been charged with voyeurism.
