A Mesa man has been arrested after killing his brother during an argument over the use of a television.

Mesa police report that Saturday night they responded to a home near Country Club Drive and Southern Avenue where they found a man that had been stabbed to death.

The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. The suspect, 28-year-old Felipe Alejandro Barajas Ramirez is the victim's brother.

According to the suspect’s girlfriend, who was with him at the time, they were watching television when the victim walked in and asked to play video games.

She reportedly told police that Ramirez told his brother that he was looking for a show to watch and the argument soon turned physical. She then saw blood fall onto the floor.

Ramirez allegedly told police that he was playing with a knife when the argument happened, and he accidentally stabbed his brother when they grabbed each other with both hands.

Police found the blood stained knife in the home. Ramirez is being held on a $750,000 cash bond on a charge of second-degree murder.
