PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a shooting near 43rd Avenue and Cactus Road.
Authorities say a man was driving around 9:30 p.m. Friday near 3900 West Columbine Drive when his vehicle was shot at.
The victim reported he was driving northbound on 39th Avenue when he heard gun fire and his back window shatter.
He was struck and pulled over to call 911.
When officers arrived they found him with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
Officers have been unable to locate a suspect and the investigation remains ongoing.
