PHOENIX — A man was shot during an armed robbery that took place in the area of 27th Avenue and I-10 shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Phoenix police say officers responded to the area where they found a man with a gunshot wound that appeared to be non-life-threatening.
The man told authorities he was robbed at gunpoint and the suspect had shot him.
Police said following the shooting, the victim was inside of a vehicle that ran into a tree.
The incident remains under investigation.
