GOODYEAR, AZ — A man is in custody accused of animal cruelty after a video spread online this week showing potential animal cruelty, Goodyear police say.
Goodyear police say after an investigation, a search warrant was served near Jackrabbit Trail and Camelback Road.
The suspect, a 50-year-old man, was taken into custody, and six Cane Corso dogs were rescued from the property.
The dogs were taken to a veterinary hospital for evaluation and care.
The investigation is ongoing, Goodyear police say.
